[The Dark Land]

interesting. I like the darkness of this track. the intro of this song reminded me of the matrix, so I guess that's a good thing. :)

I would fix up the high end frequencies in your mix. it just isn't bright enough if you know what I mean. also, the ending didn't really feel like it ended. you just sort of cut off it off there at the end. I was hoping for more of a closure there.

other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this. keep it up.

Thanks for the review :) I actually did consider making it brighter, but I thought that it might detract from the dark element of the song. As for the ending, I was honestly just tired of having it around as a WIP because I couldn't come up with anything good for the end, so I just cut it off. Perhaps I'll come back to it sometime if I think of anything good.

[The First Step]

not bad man. I see it has potential. the only part I did not like is when the bass section came in. It was kind of predictable and unoriginal. I mean, almost every dubstep artist does that.

I guess I like the fact that this isn't an "in your face" dubstep song. I'll give you props for that. also - please put in more effort to brighten up your mix. The mid to high frequencies are kind of bland at the moment. Just use some EQing and that should fix the problem.

cool beat. the kick could use more mid range freq, and the snare (or clap) needs to be brightened up a bit. when you're mixing stuff like this, you always got to double check to make sure that the bass doesn't interfere with the kick.

I wanna listen to this in a full length track. can't wait!

[{ANT} - Eastern Emergence]

very egyptian. I want more of this, you can never get tired of arabic scales. you can do so much with them! I wish there was more of a build up in the middle before the last bit of the song, to keep the variation going.

otherwise, it's a refreshing tune. keep making more stuff like this, it's awesome!
